Remembering 9.11 by doing good deeds #shinealightproject
“ Last week, my LCE class , the teacher, a monitor (Yuri), and I, went out to pick some trash around our school . We took all the trash back to school in order to use it with our art teacher. And after I had done this, i felt very proud of myself, my class… I also felt like I had helped the planet. We will never forget 9.11 and we will always do good deeds on this day to transform horror into generosity and kindness.” Ambre
“I liked picking up trash. By collecting the waste, I felt proud because I was cleaning up nature and joy because I was paying tribute to 9.11 casualties” . Maellys and Noémie
“ Last week, we chose to pay tribute on 9.11 by picking up the trash in the public area. We liked this action because it was both a good deed to pay tribute to the 9.11 casualties , and to help our planet.” Manon and Sofiane
“We choose to go outside with bags and gloves and we started looking for some trash. Doing this we felt joyful and relaxed because we knew we were doing a good action but we also felt desperate because of all the victims and the people who had been hurt. The atmosphere was pleasant even though we were doing this for a sombre reason.” Angèle and Thomas
